With the challenges presented from the COVID-19 health crisis on our financial future, such as the cancellation of our Mentoring Matters 5k and the loss of program funding, Teens Run DC, now more than ever, needs your support to help sustain our long distance running, group mentoring, and social emotional learning program benefiting DC youth through either virtual or in-person programming this coming school year.
This summer, our community will expand as we join together in running a virtual 5K to celebrate camaraderie, health, and the special mentors in our life. Even if you cannot run, consider donating to support the future of our programming!
UPDATE 7/22/2020:
With 5 days remaining, our 1st QuaranTeens Run DC Virtual 5K has been so much more than we would have ever dreamed for this event, and the reason for its success is the overwhelming generosity of the TRDC Community! With that said, after yesterday's email announcing our new $40,000 goal, we were presented with a challenge to make our Virtual 5K "truly special" for our students. Our major sponsor for the event, Carahsoft Technology Corporation, challenged TRDC to move our goal, one last time, to an amazing $50,000, with an assurance that if we come close, Carahsoft will take us over the top! We are presently at $42,042!

UPDATE 7/20/2020:
You know what's super exciting?!! With about a week to go, Teens Run DC has fulfilled its match requirement of $10,000 from our supporter, Carahsoft Technology Corp., and has received $4,795 of additional funds from Carahsoft, $5,000 from Rotary Foundation and $5,000 from Aegis Wealth Management. Along with everyone's generous contributions (THANK YOU!), we have raised just over $37,000!! In order to raise as much as possible for the future of our youth programming, we have created a new $40,000 goal. Thanks so much for making the future a possibility for all the youth we serve!
